Rust is a decorative element of facade molding, which imitates a stone masonry. Rust is also called artificial bricks, and the stone is lined with stripes, and grooves in the masonry, which create a kind of relief surface, dividing the facade of the building on the belts.
In classical architecture, the rustic name was called facade facing with quadrangle stones. The front part of the stone was left untreated or very roughly treated, and along the perimeter, each stone was stripped of a narrow, smooth strip.
Over time, rustication began to call and immitating its stucco molding, as well as a peculiar way of plaster, which reproduces the appearance of the rustic.
To date, the most common variant of the rustic is the decoration of a plastered facade, which is combined with the imitation of masonry from a large stone. Typically, masonry is carried out in the corners of the buildings and in the lower part of the walls, which gives extra elegance.
Stucco in the form of rustic stone gives the facade of the house such kind of qualities as strength and reliability of the structure. Repetition of the elements of the masonry on the subconscious will inspire calmness, a sense of stability.
